Proposal Board Layouts..

After showing these rather rough ideas during the crit today, I have come away feeling as if I did everything I knew we shouldn't have. Even though I knew we shouldn't have done it... if that makes sense. None of the boards have a hierarchies about then, everything is crammed on in no particular order and doesn't show the resolutions to their full potential. This is something we have gone away to review and try to resolve. The first board with the final resolution is the most important board. The job of this one is to sell our idea. This needs to be captured at it's best and have the most impact on the viewer to keep their attention.

The 'look..'

We're trying to achieve a bracelet that looks like the small thin brown and grey ones..

All in days development..

The following are screen grabs taken from the Feel Good website researching into the different flavours available.

The majority of today I have spent trying to develop the bottle tags and bracelet ideas. So far Hayley and I have decided upon the colours of the beads we are going to use and what they are going symbolize. They are as follows..

Pink - LOVE
Orange - CREATIVITY
Red - ENERGY
Yellow - HAPPINESS
Green - GROWTH
Blue - PEACE
Black - SELF CONTROL
Purple - WEALTH

We have also been looking at the different fruits used for each flavour of drink...

The Chosen Beads!

Wooden beads and last weeks crit evaluation..

Hayley and I have been thinking more into our freebee bead idea. After having our crit last week we realised that the bracelet idea was too girly and that it probably wouldn't be very successful from the feedback we got from our peers. However, we are now looking to try and adapt the bead ideas so that the customer can use them for more than just a friendship bracelet. There are many alternative uses they could be adapted for, such as adding them to your mobile phone, key rings and bags. We feel that this is more of a promising idea as we both felt that by pursuing the friendship, make a wish bracelet idea would limit our audience and not successfully answer the briefs requirements.
We also looked into loyalty cards. However, we came to the conclusion that they weren't really necessary. The concept behind having a loyalty card was to gain 6 stamps which you would receive on purchase of each drink. A free drink would be rewarded you having completed the collection of all 6 stamps. One of our ideas in order to receive a free drink was that customers would have to collect a number of bottles and hand them all in to be recycled or customers would have to collect all the bracelets to then be granted a free drink. We also felt that this needed a bit more thought. We are currently investigating into the bead idea further and looking at how we might give them away with the bottle. The cardboard cone to go around the neck of the bottle seems our most promising idea so far and after looking at existing promotional ones for other brands, it has given us lots of inspiration!

Here are some wooden beads. Enjoy :)

Bottle research & COMPETITOR research..

This is by far my favourite promotional idea. (Above) It works well with the style of bottle and would be appropriate for the type of bottles Feel Good Drinks use. Particularly the sparkling bottle range. It's compact, neat and simple. Perfect for combining with our freebee feel good spreading idea!
